It's that time of year and I'm treating many sufferers 😿🌷🎄🌺 Here are a few tips and hints on how to combat hay fever symptoms naturally:
Apply petroleum jelly or similar, to just around both nostrils to prevent pollen entering your system 👌🏽
Keep window closed and only use fans away from your face and body
Stay indoors when grass is being mown and allow for settling time. And when it has just rained. 💦
Wear sunglasses when out to stop pollen blowing into your eyes 🕶👓☀️
Apply used tea bags or cucumber slices to itchy eyes morning noon and night.
Keep your immune system in tip top condition by nourishing your body with healthy foods 🍎
Replace squash, pop and coffee etc with lemon 🍋 and ginger water several times a day. And if you can, add in turmeric. Or add it to your curries etc Turmeric is excellent for reducing inflammation within the body and building the immune system up
Eat a spoonful of honey a day 🐝
Meditate daily - create a sacred space where you can sit in peace, burn a candle, apply an aroma that evokes positive memories, play some relaxing music that you enjoy it, display photos of loved ones, favourite flowers etc. Make it that it becomes only your space with your energies. On down days I guarantee you will feel better. 😀🙌
I have also created a natural hay fever remedy too to inhale that has been tried and tested on my family. Contact me for details 👍
Try to get as much sleep as possible. Sleep is a major tool for healing the body. 💤💤💤
Exercise the body - 20 minutes a day is all it takes, ensuring your heart rate is up and you are breathless. Dancing has been proven to make us feel happier 💃💃💃
Have a good old sing. There's nothing like it to lift the soul. In the shower, the car or join a choir 🎤
And finally affirm to yourself "I am healed, whole and healthy" Do not focus on the negative: whilst you keep reminding yourself you suffer with hay fever you are affirming it and you will continue to have it. Think it , feel it, and believe it that its leaving your body for good. 😀☀️🌼 Let me know how you get on.
